Hi, I’m Lisa.
I’m a wildlife biologist and the person behind Clever Crow.
I’ve spent years working in avian field research across North and South America, studying birds, hiking through forests and marshes, climbing trees to get to nests, and generally developing very strong opinions about obscure wildlife.
Clever Crow grew out of that world: the species, sounds, behaviors, habitats, and wonderfully specific jokes that make nature people light up.
I work to conserve habitat. I also make funny shirts.
My work has taught me to look closely at wildlife and the habitats they depend on. The more time I spend outdoors, the more I appreciate how much there is to notice, and how much I want to protect.

I have traveled to many places looking for and studying unique birds and wildlife. Now I turn that curiosity into designs I hope to make you smile and bring a little more awareness to some truly cool animals.
